There's something almost meditative about twisted wire. The way it catches light, the rhythm of the pattern, the texture under your fingertips, it's jewellery that demands to be touched, not just admired from a distance. Our new Handmade Twisted Wire Ring Collection is built around this idea: that the best pieces engage more than just your eyes.

Rope, Metal, and Memory

The twisted wire technique isn't new. It's actually one of the oldest methods in metalwork, dating back centuries. Artisans would twist individual strands of metal together, creating that distinctive rope pattern that's both decorative and incredibly strong. We've kept that traditional approach because, honestly, nothing modern comes close to the depth and character it creates. What you get is texture that actually matters. The grooves create shadows. The peaks catch light. And depending on how you move your hand, the whole ring seems to shift and change. It's the kind of detail that photographs can never quite capture.

Three Directions, One Collection

We didn't want every ring to look identical, so we played with what sits between those twisted borders. Some rings go bold deep braided patterns with dark oxidized finishes that feel almost ancient. These are the ones that make people do a double-take.

Others take a softer approach, with delicate leaf motifs or floral patterns tucked into the band. The oxidation settles into the recesses, making every tiny detail visible.

And then there are the stackers, narrower bands with simpler patterns that are designed to be worn together. Three rings, five rings, however many feel right. They're meant to be mixed, not matched.

Why Wide Bands Matter

Let's address the obvious: these rings have presence. They're not whisper-thin stackers or minimalist wire bands. They're substantial pieces that sit comfortably on your finger without spinning or shifting. If you've ever worn a really thin ring all day, you know the problem, it twists, it catches, it never quite stays where you want it. Wide bands solve that. They're actually more comfortable for daily wear because the weight distributes evenly.

Plus, there's just something satisfying about a ring that feels like something on your hand.

The No-Gemstone Argument

Not every piece needs a stone. Sometimes the metal itself is enough, especially when it's worked this thoughtfully. The appeal here isn't sparkle; it's the interplay of texture, shadow, and light across the silver surface. It's quieter than a diamond, but no less interesting.

What's in the Box

Each ring comes in a simple wooden box. No velvet, no fuss. Just dark wood that lets the silver speak for itself. They're packaged like small art pieces because, well, that's what they are. If you're drawn to jewellery that rewards a closer look, that improves with wear, that carries the marks of actual hands shaping actual metal this collection might be exactly what you didn't know you were looking for.
